Born on September 24, 1969, Michel Gbagbo is a writer and a Professor at the University of Abidjan ( Ivory Coast). Michel is the son of President Laurent Koudou Gbagbo and Jacqueline Chamois. Indeed, Michel is a French citizen because he was born in Lyon (France) and from a French mother.
Michel is a director of Communications and Education at the National committee of Piloting of the Redeployment of Administration (CNPRA). He is also an assistant professor in Psychology in criminology at the University of Cocody (Abidjan). Michel Gbagbo obtained his high schooldiploma at the Technical school of Abidjan in 1990 and his name mysteriously disappeared from all the files of the examination, he could not be accepted in any college or University. However at the time a law prohibited new graduates to be registered at the University without being accepted. His family financial situation was not very good at that time, Michel had to register with his French passport. Michel Gbagbo had to pay 100.000 F CFA ( Monetary device in Ivory Coast ).
Unfortunately, during his 2nd year at the University, the events of 1992 which led to the incarceration of his family. Being without news of his parents after the protest of 1992, Michel Gbagbo went to the prison of Abidjan to visit his parents and some militants of FPI ( A Political party in Ivory Coast) also held at this prison.
After coming out of prison some month later, Michel Gbagbo went back to school and obtained the DEA (Postgraduate certificate), Michel could not be registered because the hierarchy of the University refused to let him in. Not being able to face all these barriers, Michel Gbagbo prefered to relocate to France for work.
Later on Michel came back to Ivory Coast and obtained his first job with the help of a relative and he became a professor of geography and economics at a professional scholl in Abidjan. Then with some friends, Michel Gbagbo opened an office of training and council in communication (Kompetence Ivory). Thereafter, Michel Gbagbo stopped his private business and re-register himself at the University for a doctorate in Psychology .
Thus, his childhood Michel Gbagbo always was hated, rejected and being put some sticks in the wheels because of his father political affiliation and opinions (Laurent Gbagbo).
Ohhh Poor Michel, why do you have to suffer that way because you are the son of your father ? what mistakes did you ever do in Ivory Coast to be treated that way? Or your mistake was to be the son of Laurent Gbagbo? Where were your dear motherland France when you were beaten to blood? Aren't you also a French citizen? Why this ignorance of France toward your person?
Dear Michel Gbagbo, our brother, our husband, our father, our uncle and our friend, your wife Viviane needs you, your children Christiane, Paul-Yvhann and Junior also need you
Please return to them quickly….

Michel Gbagbo a dû payer 100.000 F CFA.

Why French citizenship law does not apply to Michel Gbagbo ?
Michel Gbagbo was born from a French mother and an Ivorian father ,and he is a French citizen.Since his arrest on April 11, 2011, he is wrong fully held in the town of Bouna in the north part of Ivory Coast. This citizen with the dual nationality was seized in the house of his father at the time of the political crisis in Ivory Coast. In another hands, Jean Paul Ney, a French citizen also as well was captured on December 27th , 2007 by DST (Direction of the Monitoring of the Territory) for conspiracy against the safety of Ivory Coast. Jean Paul Ney was found guilty from all the charges and he was sentenced by Raymond Tchimou the Ivorian public prosecutor. French authorities in particular the Secretary of state Alain Joyandet pressured the Ivorian authorities of Ivory Coast to obtain his release. His release and extradition were indeed obtained without condition. The crucial question is to know if Michel Gbagbo and Jean Paul Ney are different . Does France make a selection among its nationals ?. Indeed Jean Paul Ney, who by his action has shows his intention criminal lives quietly in France whereas Michel Gbagbo is a prisoner, deprived of his liberty and kept under involuntary restraint because of his father. French authorities should lean more on the case of Michel Gbagbo because the law of their country requires it and they must respect it.
